Small Engine Repair Technician
In this role, the technician will be responsible for diagnosing operating problems with gasoline powered tools and generators. The repair procedures include diagnosing, teardown, basic component replacement, reassembly, cleaning and testing of the tools in an efficient and productive manner. Other duties include monitoring inventory of parts as well as composing estimates for repair.
To succeed in this position, the candidate should have a solid knowledge of warranty repair standards, procedures, testing and documentation requirements. Candidate should be extremely attentive, and detail oriented with excellent communication and swift customer service skills.
The Repair Technician will report to Operations Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
Fully examine tools and perform diagnostic tests to determine functionality issues.
Determine estimate for repair, including parts and labor.
Perform necessary data entry.
Reassemble components according to specifications, clean and test tool to satisfactory operating ability.
Work as a team with Repair Department in managing repair priorities and providing efficient customer service.
Collaborate with Warehouse Manager in determining inventory stock requirements and efficient turnaround of parts inventory.
Maintain a safe and tidy work area.
Design a plan of action for all repairs while maintaining logs, labor and maintenance records.
Complete all necessary assigned online training sessions to obtain brand certifications.
Ideal candidate should have prior knowledge of warranty repair standards and requirements thereof for gasoline powered tools and generators.
Experience using safety standards and testing procedures for gasoline powered tools.
Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
Proficient computer skills to navigate internal software, warranty and inventory sites.
Strong communication skills with coworkers and customer base as needed.
Candidate should have their own basic hand tools. Brand specific specialty tools and necessary PPE will be provided by Ohio Power Tool.
The Warehouse Associate is an integral position within the warehouse by handling inventory arrivals, storage, transfers and shipments. This person will work with our team to maintain the high volume of shipping and receiving traffic on a daily basis for our company. This position requires accuracy in handling bar codes while moving inventory to correct staging areas. The Warehouse Associate position requires knowledge and use of scanners that assist with inventory management, and at times operates forklifts to handle materials and inventory.
To ensure success you will need the ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly and efficient manner. You will keep your work environment clean and tidy at all times, and comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. This person must be able to handle fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task.
The Warehouse Associate will report to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure all incoming deliveries match company purchase orders and/or Packing slip; accurately enter receipts into system and distribute items to the correct bin locations.
- Manage inventory by accurately identifying, cataloging, and recording location of inventory.
- Process requisitions and Purchase Orders. Ensure orders waiting on products go out and remaining items are stocked in warehouse or showroom.
- Analyze pick sheets based on client orders and pull the appropriate products for each order; process the order for shipment using UPS Worldship and other systems.
- Help customers and outside sales team with loading/unloading items to and from vehicles.
- Assist counter sales team with stocking correct products in showroom.
- Good computer skills to interface with internal inventory, sales and shipping systems.
- Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse machinery.
- Ability to lift up to a maximum of 100 lbs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
