Customer Service Representative
Starting $18-$22 / Hour + Commission
Job Overview
The Customer Service Representative’s primary responsibility is providing an exceptional customer experience to every customer. The CSR role will answer questions, provide information and process orders for our customers. All customer communications, whether over the phone, email and/or in person, will be professional and courteous. Our CSR will provide awareness to our customers of the various products and services OPT offers to expand our customer sales.
Reports To:Customer Service Supervisor
Responsibilities and Duties
Process incoming calls, emails, CRM cases and in person transactions such as: orders, quotes, returns, order expedites, product information, product availability, etc.
Ensure all orders, quotes, returns, cash sales and CRM cases are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Take ownership of customer orders, issues and CRM cases with prompt follow through to resolution. This includes: expediting product, ensuring delivery is met, researching project technical questions, alternatives items, etc.
Assist customers with website navigation trouble, login resets and other customer service issues as needed.
Selling products and service to clients and processing payments.
Forwarding and escalating inquiries to relevant individuals and departments
Skills
Strong communication skills, both oral and written required.
2-3 years Customer Service or Sales experience required.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Strong team collaboration skills, flexibility to learn and perform all CS functions.
Ability to stay calm and adapt/respond to different types of challenges.
Netsuite ERP and CRM experience a plus

Jobsite / VMI Specialist
Base Pay + Commission
Job Overview
Our Jobsite / VMI Specialist’s main priority is to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels of their experience with Ohio Power Tool through the development and maintenance of jobsite inventory fulfillment best practices. Position requires consistent customer interactions to plan and manage inventory optimization from end to end. Responsible for being the central point of cross-functional communication between Sales, Customers, and Operations with a focus on timely resolutions. This person is challenged to improve the replenishment, order writing, forecasting process and results to enable the company to achieve customer service expectations and improve overall asset optimization.
The Jobsite / VMI Specialist will be a skilled communicator and presenter who can find the best fit between client and inventory planning. This position requires organized and planning strategies, passionate about client relations, and focused on enhancing the buyer experience in a dynamic environment.
Reports To: VP of Sales
Responsibilities and Duties
Devise effective sales and marketing strategies for existing customers, leads and new prospects in Columbus and surrounding areas.
Identify and organize various contractors on jobsites; weekly updates to leader with jobsite progress and forecast activities.
Work with end users to ensure customer understanding of overall system functions and optimal technical execution for seamless inventory supply.
Maintain maintenance of inventory equipment which includes overall onsite functioning operations as well as customer product equipment at various locations.
Ability to make sound decisions about customer demand and forecasting, product supply processes and technology updates as it pertains to inventory management.
Ensure compliance with safety standards involving heavy lifting or materials handling activities within warehouses or various jobsites.
Stay informed on product offerings, pricing changes, and industry trends
Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
Skills

Qualifications
1-2 years’ experience with counter sales (face-to-face customer interactions)
Excellent analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Outstanding problem-solving ability; follow open issues through to resolution
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on action
Strong computer skills to keep inventory organized, contract and presentation management, and various levels of customer communication.

Physical Requirements / Outside Sales Support
Ability to occasionally travel to customer locations, job sites, supplier facilities, or company branches to support outside sales efforts
Ability to walk job sites, warehouses, and yard areas where uneven surfaces, active equipment, dust, noise, and changing weather conditions may be present
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed during customer visits, product checks, or sales support activities
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move product samples, catalogs, small tools, or sales materials, typically up to 25 pounds
Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic systems while supporting customers and outside sales representatives
Must comply with all safety requirements when visiting job sites, warehouses, or other operational areas, including use of required personal protective equipment where applicable.
