Atlas Lifting & Rigging (ALR) has designed these hoists to exceed it's rating by 150%. The safety features are: At the base and tip of each hook are permanent measuring points to check the hooks throat opening for signs of "stretching", an indication that the hoist has been overloaded and the hook should be replaced. The zinc coating on crucial parts gives it the ability to withstand harsh conditions. Quick hoist positioning allows our lever hoist to adjust without accidentally freewheeling under load. Our hoist does not have to be under load to adjust with the ratchet. Welded structural stay bolts increases strength and safety. High strength alloy side plates gives it the strongest structure in the industry. Sintered brake system gives our brake pads extraordinary strength, it won't crack, shatter or absorb moisture. Overload protection will protect the user and the hoist from damage.
