The threading head features a clamping mechanism that secures the pipe firmly in place, centering it perfectly with the dies. The Threading Process: With the pipe secured in the threading head and the appropriate die set in place, the threading process begins. Multiple passes with the dies, gradually decreasing in size, are typically required to achieve the desired thread depth and profile.
