COUNTER SALES

The Counter Sales representative’s main priority is to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels of their experience with Ohio Power Tool.  Position requires courteous conversation and correspondence with customers and follow-up to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner.  Duties will include managing various levels of customer service for walk-in, phone and internet based customers.

Position Duties:

    Welcome customers to the store and help with any questions they might have.

    Answer telephone calls and assist customers with inquiries.

    Manage and respond to customer emails.

    Pull inventory items for Internet Sales Orders.

    Stock showroom floor and ensure a well-organized display of products.

    Assist inside & outside sales team in preparing quotes and orders for customers.

Ideal Candidate:

    Excellent customer service skills and team mentality

    Good computer skills to interface with our inventory/sales system as well as vendors.

    Good knowledge of tools, accessories and their functions with a desire to learn more.

    Customer service experience in a related industry for 2+ years.

    Interested in moving to inside or outside sales in future.

 

REPAIR TECHNICIAN - HYDRAULIC

For this repair technician position we are specifically looking for someone with a strong background in hydraulic equipment, specifically for our high volume of repairs in service jacks, cylinders, pumps and small hydraulic tools. Electric and pneumatic tool repairs would also be required as volume demands.

Position Duties:

    Estimating customer tools that come in for repair as well as assist customers and internal staff in pre-assessing items that would not be economical to repair.

    Look up parts required on breakdowns or vendor’s system and entering parts needed for repair into our system.

    Perform all repairs and/or maintenance of items quoted.

Ideal Candidate:

    Excellent knowledge of hydraulic repair with a desire to learn more.

    Mechanic/repair experience in a related field for 4+ years.

    Good computer skills to interface with our inventory/sales system as well as vendors.

    Self motivated individual & team mentality.
