\nHere’s the deal: every MILWAUKEE power tool* (check out the exceptions below) comes with a solid warranty that covers you, the original purchaser, against defects in material and craftsmanship. If your tool’s got an issue, MILWAUKEE will either repair or replace any part that’s found to be defective, free of charge, for a period of 5 years** from the purchase date (unless stated otherwise). All you need to do is send your tool to a MILWAUKEE Service Center or Authorized Service Station—prepaid and insured—along with a copy of your proof of purchase. Easy, right?
\nWhat’s not covered?
Damage caused by repairs done by anyone other than MILWAUKEE pros, misuse, alterations, accidents, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, and a few other things are not included.
Normal Wear and Tear: Let’s be real. Over time, parts like chucks, brushes, cords, blade clamps, and other consumables will need replacing. This warranty won’t cover those when they just wear out from regular use.
\nExceptions:
This warranty doesn’t apply to Air Nailers & Staplers, Airless Paint Sprayers, Cordless Battery Packs, Gasoline Driven Portable Power Generators, Hand Tools, Hoists, M12™ Heated Gear, Reconditioned Products, and Test & Measurement Products. Each of these has its own unique warranty.
Special Warranty Periods:
- Job Site Radios, M12™ Power Port, M18™ Power Source, Jobsite Fan, and Trade Titan™ Industrial Work Carts: 1 year from the purchase date.
- M18 FUEL™ 1” D-Handle High Torque Impact Wrenches, Drain Cleaning Cables, AIRSNAKE™ Accessories, and REDLITHIUM™ USB Laser Levels: 2 years.
- M18™ Compact Heat Gun, 8 Gallon Dust Extractor, M18™ Framing Nailers, M18 FUEL™ Tools, M12™ Laser Levels, and a few more: 3 years.
- LED Work Lights and LED Upgrade Bulbs: Lifetime—yep, that’s right. If your LED fails during normal use, we’ll swap it out, no charge.
No Need to Register:Warranty kicks in automatically, no registration required. If you don’t have proof of purchase, the product’s manufacturing date will be used to determine warranty eligibility.

\nEvery **MILWAUKEE Tool & Equipment Tracker** is covered by a **1-year warranty** to the original purchaser, provided it’s bought from an authorized **MILWAUKEE distributor**. If your tracker has any defects in material or workmanship, we’ll either repair it or replace it for you. Just send it to a **MILWAUKEE Service Center** (shipping prepaid and insured), and don’t forget to include your proof of purchase. Keep in mind, this warranty doesn’t cover damage from unauthorized repairs, misuse, alterations, accidents, or normal wear and tear. Also, the **coin battery cell** included with the tracker isn’t covered by this warranty.
