Copper Beryllium Alloy non-sparking tools from CS Unitec are designed to
help fulfill demand for hand tools that meet ATEX Directive 94/9EC for
work in Zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21, and 22. This means they are suitable for
working in an atmosphere where a mixture of air and flammable substances
in the form of gas, vapor, mist or dust is present frequently,
continuously, or for long periods. They have a hardness of 33-45 HRC,
which makes them more durable than the lower priced Aluminum Bronze
tools. They are also made of non-magnetic components, which makes them
safer for applications demanding non-magnetic properties.
