The portable, cordless battery-powered dry metal-cutting saw 608270 E is a high-performance metal-cutting circular saw engineered for fast, dry cutting without lubricant. As the largest cordless saw in its class, it features a closed blade guard and an integrated chip collector to protect users from flying chips along with an LED overload indicator for safe operation. Built with a lightweight magnesium body weighing 19 lbs (excluding batteries and blade), it delivers a cutting depth of 4-3/4", making it highly efficient for cutting sandwich panels, trapezoidal sheets, steel pipes, and nonferrous metals. The saw is powered by two 18V LiHD 5.5A CAS batteries and includes an air-cooled high-speed charging station. It comes equipped with an ultra-thin Ø 12 5/8" 84T CT "LBS impact-resistant" saw blade designed specifically for cordless machines to minimize friction, maximize battery life, and resist intense impact during tough steel applications.
