ProPex Expansion Heads

Professional PEX Expansion Heads & Tools

Achieving a reliable, high-flow plumbing connection starts with the right equipment. Unlike traditional crimp methods that can restrict flow, PEX expansion (ASTM F1960) utilizes the "memory" of the tubing to create a permanent, leak-free seal. At Ohio Power Tool, we provide the precision-engineered components required to maintain system integrity in residential and commercial mechanical projects.

Seamless Integration with Milwaukee ProPEX® Systems

As a premier distributor, Ohio Power Tool stocks expansion heads fully compatible with the industry-leading Milwaukee M12 and M18 FUEL™ ProPEX® cordless tools.

• Auto-Rotate Compatibility: Designed for modern cordless expanders, these heads facilitate automatic rotation to eliminate "grooving" and ensure a watertight finish.
• Quick-Change Sizes: We carry a full range of sizes, including 1/2", 3/4", 1", and larger commercial diameters, allowing for rapid transitions on the jobsite.
• Jobsite Durability: Featuring chrome plating and weather-resistant coatings, our expansion heads are built to withstand the demanding conditions of Ohio construction sites.

Applications in Modern Mechanical Contracting

From new construction to full-home repipes, PEX expansion is the gold standard for safety and efficiency:

• Potable Water & Radiant Heating: Ideal for high-flow delivery and reliable connections in subfloors or concrete slabs.
• No-Flame Safety: Using expansion tools eliminates the need for torches and hot-work permits, making your jobsite safer and more efficient.
