The New HMD508 Portable Magnetic Drill is a rugged, high powered drill for general fabrication and high production environments. The HMD508 features a two speed gear box with a new higher speed of 450 & 750 RPM for use with Copperhead™ carbide cutters. Additional features include: a patented quill feed arbor system for smooth cuts and minimal maintenance, positive slug ejection, and a two stage magnet which engages full power when the motor is turned on. The HMD508 also includes a gravity feed coolant bottle and carrying case.
Optional pressurized coolant system aids drilling in horizontal positions and feed handles can be switched to either side without tools.
RPM 450 & 750 (for carbide). Two-Speed 14 Amp Motor.
Dimensions: 20" H x 4-3/4" W x 10-3/4" L
Magnet Base: 4" W x 8" L
Hole capacity - 7/16" to 2-3/8" diameter, 3" depth.
Uses 12,000 Series Cutters or 18,000 Copperhead Carbide Cutters.
